7th Annual Camden Clean Campaign- April 6, 2016

MAYOR DANA L. REDD TO KICK-OFF SEVENTH ANNUAL CAMDEN CLEAN CAMPAIGN IN THE EAST CAMDEN NEIGHBORHOOD

 
CAMDEN, NJ – After six successful cleaning and greening efforts, Mayor Dana L. Redd will kick-off the seventh annual “Camden Clean Campaign”, Wednesday, April 6, 2016, in the East Camden neighborhoods of Marlton and Stockton.  Staging location for the clean-up will be in at the Alberta Woods Park (rear of Woodrow Wilson High School at 29th & Freemont Streets).  Mayor Redd will be joined by City Council Members, elected officials, also National Service Members (Americorps, VISTA, NCCC, State and National Senior Corps) for a9:00am press conference to highlight the impact of National Service Recognition Day and recognize the efforts of participants and volunteers involved in the Camden Clean Campaign. The clean-up will be the first of eleven cleaning and greening days for this spring and summer.  Residents will also be able to receive information about the free exterior paint program and other City initiatives.
